Door system with reduced footprint
The Latin word Aptus (suited, convenient, befitting) is the name of a new compact door system designed by IGV for the modernisation of existing installations with limited cross section footprint and reduced headroom.
Easy to install thanks to the lightness and reduced cross dimensions with only 50 mm car and landing sill, Aptus offers application capabilities and high performance.
The exclusive and patented rail allows the sliding of two carts on the same rail and with same direction.
The complete system includes: door operator, suspension, panels, sills and landing frame.

- Door operator with control system with inverter, matching the quietness and energy saving benefits with all the adjustment options differentiated in opening and closing (speed, acceleration, deceleration).
- Adjustments are easy to program because they have been already factory setup and tested. Moreover, it is provided with safety edge and position encoder, with self-learning opening and closing limits.
- Power supply: 230 V single-phase.
- Iron guide rails.
- Scalable-type pairing between door operator and suspension in order to optimise the opening and closing driving.
- Provided with positioning and levelling references in order to ease installation and adjustments.
- Available in the telescopic two- or four- opposite panel versions in the automatic model, provided with landing doors with or without frame, or semi-automatic, provided with manual landing door.
- Easy installation and maintenance.
- Frames with dimensions different from the standard are also available.
