The two-way device for the communication between the lift car and the rescue service
MOX is a two-way device for the communication between the lift car and the rescue service. The Lift Directive (95/16/EC) requires that an alarm device in the lift car is compulsory. The device must permit a two-way means of communication allowing permanent contact with a rescue service.
By pressing the conventional alarm button in the car, the MOX system activates a telephone communication between the user and the rescue service centre. MOX is in compliance with European Standard EN81-28, regarding the provision of alarm systems for lifts.
MOX includes:
- automatic checking of battery status
- automatic test of the operation of the device
- circuit to interface the "filtering" of the alarm (the deactivation of the operation of the alarm in some cases, i.e. car at floor level with open doors)
The system is entirely prewired. The programming is easy and it is possible to remotely change the telephone numbers (trough an optional device). Access codes protect the system setting of the different functions.
